Mykola Tomenko: Verkhovna Rada has stopped unwarranted closing of village schools
Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted the Resolution "On the implementation of moratorium on the closing of educational estates of general education in the village districts" in its entirety (Reg.№2227).
According to the Resolution the Parliament recommends that the Cabinet of Ministers should charge the local self governing bodies with analyzing of the situation regarding the functioning of the education estates of general education in the villages taking into the account demographic changes and stop their unwarranted liquidation. The Financing of the education estates of general education in the villages should be increased by the Government.
